Hello Cuties!

While taking a much needed break from two months of constant travel, fashion shows, and creating, I spent a week cleaning up my work-space and contemplating my next move with L. Royalty. Although I have a great support system of friends and colleagues to help me and provide me with advice, the bulk of the work and planning is done by yours truly. That being said, there will be a few changes within the next month for the brand. Don’t worry, the brand will remain intact, I am merely planning on making it easier for you, the shopper, to purchase items and navigate the site.

One of the ways we are planning to achieve this is by opening a $35 (and under) portion of the store where you will be able to purchase items that can fit a lower price point. All items will still be made with the best of care, and upmost quality, but we have decided that adding a few basic bodies will help you cuties create and expand your wardrobe. Some of these items will be limited in quantity, some of these items may only be available in one size, and some may sell out quickly, but each will be cute and unique, just like you! I have already started working on a few items that are currently available only in our etsy store, but we will have many more coming very soon!

Another event we have coming up is on the 21st of this month is in conjunction with Harajuku Day here in Los Angeles. Harajuku Day hosts a variety of events in Los Angles, including the meet ups, parades, and more! We are going to be a vendor at one of their events which should be super fun! We can’t wait to meet all the amazing harajuku-style cuties we are going to see there! We plan on creating a few new looks to sell at the event this week, so be sure to check out our instagram for a sneak peek of the new goodies! The event will take place on May 21st, from 10am – 9pm at 2234 W. Temple St, 90027. We are very excited to be apart of their event!

The final update I have for you cuties is the photo shoot I participated in this weekend. I had the opportunity to model my own design at the beautiful Los Angeles Arboretum. The venue was so beautiful, I would actually love to go back to just take a tour and look at the flowers and wildlife. It was a beautiful sunny day, so it was perfect for photos. To prep for the shoot I created a floral printed corset with a beautiful pink satin fabric. I wanted to make sure I matched the other models at the shoot but still stay true to my esthetic of a cute Barbie girl. The shoot was so much fun because I am not usually in front of the camera these days for fashion-style shoots, so it was great to get back into it. I can’t wait to show you the professional photos as soon as I receive them from the photographers in attendance!

If you were following us on Instagram that day, you could take a peek at our insta story to see a few behind the scenes videos and pictures. Our social media followers seemed to love the concept and look I created with the pink floral corset outfit paired with my green/pink hair. So because of the great feedback we received, we are going to add corsets to the store very soon. They will be available in regular and plus sizing (of course), and come in a variety of colors. I plan on creating several different types to sell because who says corsets can’t be cute and unique? They will be apart of the elevated fashion collection, so the price point will be higher, but if you are searching for cute and unique corsets, you now know where to look!

That’s all for now! I can’t wait to share what I have planned for our 6 month anniversary of the opening of L. Royalty next month!

Until then, stay cute & stay unique!
