After a slow year in 2020, this year we got to enjoy the release of tons of television shows and movies that we've been waiting for, along with tons of unexpected hits. This week at L. Royalty we'll be showing you some Halloween looks inspired by all the things we've watched this year!

1. Channel Your Inner Superhero as Wanda Maximoff

Marvel's Wanadavision was a huge hit this year, kicking off the Marvel Cinematic Universe's revival with an adventure unlike anything Marvel fans had enjoyed before. A costume inspired by Wanda's own Halloween look on the show is sure to turn heads. Superheroes are a great option for group costumes as well, whether your partner dresses as Vision or the whole crew goes as the Avengers!

2. Suit Up for the Squid Games

Squid Game was one of the biggest surprises in television, topping the charts on Netflix to become one of the most-watched shows of the year. If you're going out with friends this year, look no further for a simple group costume that everyone can actually agree on.

3. Bring the Family Together as The Mitchells

Looking for a costume the whole family can wear together? Look no further than the Mitchell family from animated movie The Mitchells vs. The Machines. This quirky, fun loving, robot-army-defeating family starred in one of the most popular family movies this year and would be a fun choice for any perfectly imperfect family.

4. Show off your Villainous Side as Cruella

This year saw the release of Cruella, a movie which took us through the previously unknown backstory for the infamous 101 Dalmatians villain. The movie featured some amazing costume design with tons of unique looks to choose from Cruella's time trying to make it as a London fashion designer. Just make sure you get a wig to nail the most important part: her iconic black-and-white hairdo!

What are you planning to dress up as for Halloween this year? Be sure to let us know in the comments!
